It is my belief that these beings have always lived on the earth, or at least for as long as humanity (in its modern form) has existed, and much much longer. I believe that native and indigenous peoples coexisted with these beings and mistook them for gods, demons, monsters, etc. I believe they were well aware of their existence and understood that they were far more advanced than human beings. They did their best to respect them and not get too close or anger them.
It is my believe that as so-called civilization expanded, European settlers became aware of the existence of these local beings and their leadership negotiated with them, possibly through indigenous intermediaries, as their territories expanded. Certain areas of continents were agreed to be off-limits for human settlement, and TPTB deliberately left these areas alone.
I believe that it has been understood that we exist in our current so-called modern cities at the whim of these beings, and our leaders understand that they have the capability to do with us what they will.
I believe our existence must be of some necessity or other value to these beings, whether they get some kind of sustenance from us or perhaps only scientific or research value. Either way, we must have some kind of value to them.
